WE'VE BUILT

We’re building a 1953 Chevy Sedan with a 60’s vintage 6 cylinder engine, with mild compression and cam with Hillborn style electronic fuel injection coming out of the side of the head.  This engine will be a hybrid with power assist from an electro-charger that works like a supercharger.  This will be coupled to an overdrive transmission and a Currie aluminum rear end.  The taillights are going to use stock bezels with redesigned internal lighting to have a European style much like the new Nissan Maxima’s.  The headlights are after-market projector style from a Mercedes 300 series.  They will be laid rearward to match the windshield angle as will the nose on the hood.  The interior will be fashioned with a twist of stock stainless trim, custom designed gauge cluster and cream leather with custom dyed suede accents.  As you can see by the drawings, the car is a kind of retro style.

     BBR’s goal is to promote an awareness of the newest products and technology in the automotive restyling industry, blended with classic design.  We are planning to show the car at ISCA indoor events, Goodguys events, and wherever prevalent media attention is available.
